International Space Station off-schedule orbit correction conducted

In the evening of September 22, 2020, the Russian Mission Control Center received information that the International Space Station is entering the so-called ‘red zone’ meaning the station may collide with space debris.

Upon analyzing the existing data, ISS flight control group decided to conduct an immediate evading maneuver.

Progress MS-14 cargo spacecraft engines were switched on at 21:19 UTC on September 22 for 150 seconds and giving the station velocity increment of 0.3 meters per second ensuring the station evade the dangerous object.
